Understand and expand results

Understanding and Expanding Skills Map Results

Once the skills map has been completed by your collaborators, you can interpret the results to make decisions. Go to Skills > Skills Maps, click on the map name to open the results screen.


Metrics

At the top of the screen, three indicators give an overview of the group:

  • People — how many people completed the map.

  • Skills — number of mapped skills.

  • Average profiles by level — a color bar showing the percentage distribution of collaborators across proficiency levels (orange = below level, yellow = at level, green = above level).


Skills Distribution

Below the metrics, you can see more detail per skill, with the following columns:

  • Skills — name and icon of each mapped skill.

  • Distribution — color bar showing how collaborators are distributed across proficiency levels for that skill.

  • Percentage — proportion of collaborators at each level.

  • People — number of collaborators who answered that skill out of the total.

Hover over the color bar of each skill to see a tooltip with the level and which collaborators are in it. Click the bar to open a panel with each person's name and a direct link to View Profile.


People

At the bottom of the screen, the list displays each collaborator individually with the following information:

  • Name and email — collaborator identification.

  • Skills — color bar with the result distribution by proficiency level. Click any segment of the bar to see which skills are at that level.

  • Responded — date when the collaborator completed the map.

  • Actions — icons to View, Edit, and Remove the result.

Use the Search by name or email field to find a specific collaborator. The Invitations tab shows sent invitations and their statuses.


Viewing a Collaborator's Profile

Click the view icon next to the collaborator to open the Result panel. The panel displays:

  • Name, role, and completion date — identification and when the map was completed.

  • Compare skills with — select a career position to overlay on the radar and compare the collaborator's profile against the expected level for that position.

  • Skills Radar — chart comparing the collaborator's current level (dark green filled area) with the level required for the position (light blue area). Skill categories (e.g. Technical, Soft skill, Management, Cultural) appear on the radar axes.

  • Skills Proportion — donut chart with the percentage distribution of skills by status:

    • 🟢 Above — the collaborator is above the expected level.

    • 🟩 At level — the collaborator is at the expected level.

    • 🟡 Below — the collaborator is below the expected level.

Hovering over a point on the radar shows a tooltip with details for that skill:

  • Responded — level declared by the collaborator in the self-assessment.

  • Required — level expected by the position (or N/A if not defined).

  • Endorsed score — level validated by the manager, when applicable.

  • Assessment — result of a linked technical assessment, when applicable.

Strengths and Areas for Improvement

Below the charts, the panel displays two sections summarizing the collaborator's profile against the compared position:

  • Strengths — skills where the collaborator is at or above the expected level.

  • Areas for improvement — skills where the collaborator is below the expected level.

Click Expand in each section to see the full list of corresponding skills.


Editing Results and Endorsing Scores

To edit a collaborator's result, click the edit icon next to their name. The screen displays all skills organized by category, with three columns:

  • Self-assessment — the level declared by the collaborator. You can confirm or change this value.

  • Endorsement — click Confirm to validate the current level, or Change to flag that it needs to be reviewed.

  • Endorsed score — the final level assigned by the manager, selected via dropdown. This value is shown in the radar and profile tooltip.

💡 Endorsement allows the manager to validate or correct the collaborator's self-assessment, ensuring the map reflects a more accurate view of their actual profile.
