Find Talents: find and invite the right profiles for your jobs

Describe who you need and get the best-matching profiles, with an analysis of each criterion, from the Coodesh base or your own talent pool.

Finding qualified people takes time and depends on who decides to apply. Find Talents, in the Sourcing menu, turns this around: you describe the profile you need and get the best-matching people, with an analysis of each criterion so you can decide with confidence.

What this solves for you

  • Finds qualified candidates without relying only on who applies to your jobs.

  • Brings back people who already went through your hiring processes.

  • Shows, criterion by criterion, why each profile fits the job or not.

  • Keeps control of who can search and how much the team uses each day.

Where to search

  • Active Search on Coodesh: Coodesh's whole talent base.

  • My Talent Pool: people who applied to your jobs, took your assessments or showed interest in jobs with external application.

Each base depends on a permission. With access to both, you choose the base when you start the search.

How to search

  1. Open Sourcing › Find Talents and click New search.

  2. Describe who you need (stack, seniority, languages, location or work model) in English, Portuguese or Spanish.

  3. If you prefer, use one of the options below the box: Use a job, shown when you have jobs in progress (the search starts from the job's data, and whatever you write is optional and adds to what the job already says); Attach file with the description (PDF, DOCX or XLSX, up to 5 MB; the file is read for the search and not stored); or Select manually the filters.

  4. Answer or skip the questions under To refine the search. Each answer becomes a required criterion. You can also add criteria, mark each one as Must have or Nice to have, and remove the ones that don't apply.

Review and invite

  • Open a profile to see the Criteria analysis and mark it Looks good or Not a fit. The analysis guides you, and the decision is still yours.

  • After Looks good, use Invite for a job in progress or a published assessment. The invite unlocks the full profile: name, photo, contacts, LinkedIn, GitHub, salary expectation and CV.

  • After the invite, if the person wrote their profile in another language, it shows translated by AI into yours, with the option See original.

  • If the profile is not a fit, use Hide from feed. It shows again after 30 days if the person updates their profile.

Organize your team's work

  • Favorites, Invited and Hidden keep the profiles your company marked. In Favorites, you can select several profiles to remove them at once or to invite the ones already marked Looks good.

  • History lists every search in the workspace, with author, date and credits used.

  • Projects group the searches of the same hiring process.

Daily search limit

Your company's plan sets how many new searches on Active Search on Coodesh each user can start in 24 hours. Next to the credits, the screen shows how many you have made (for example, 3/10 searches today) and when the next search frees up.

Refining a search and searching My Talent Pool do not count toward the limit. Invites have no daily limit: they depend only on credits. See the details in Daily search limit and Sourcing credit costs.

Credits

Inviting someone from Active Search on Coodesh uses credits only on the first invite of each person. Inviting the same person again uses no credits, and neither does inviting someone already in My Talent Pool, unless your plan says otherwise. If the invite fails, no credit is used. Your plan's values show when you invite.

Every credit used shows in Settings › Usage and in the Activity log.

Who can use it

Users with the permissions Search talents on Coodesh or Search talents in your own talent pool, on plans with the Sourcing module. Admins and managers already have both, and they are granted or removed on the users page under Settings.

To search, open full profiles, invite and request shortlists, the person also needs a Recruiter Seat. Those without one still see the company's searches and shortlists. See Recruiter Seats: who can use Sourcing.

Didn't find who you need?

Use Request shortlist to turn the search into a request, and the Coodesh team looks for the profiles for you. See Shortlists: get from Coodesh a list of profiles ready for your job.
