Track the internal job process: kanban, notes and approval

Take people from the ranking into the process, track them in a list or kanban, take notes with your team and approve them by moving the person in Careers.

After analysing the internal job ranking (see Internal recruitment ranking), you take the chosen people into the process and follow each stage until approval.

Put the person in the process

In the ranking, pick a status in the person's selector, or check several people and use Change status in the bulk actions bar. The person moves to the In process tab.

The stages are Selected, Talk with the manager, Internal interview, Approved and Did not continue. Choosing No status takes the person out of the process and keeps the notes.

Track in a list or kanban

  • In the In process tab, see people as a List or Kanban. The platform remembers the view you chose.

  • In the kanban, drag the cards between the stages.

  • The list shows each person's latest note and the overall score in the job's assessments.

  • Click the name or the card to open the person.

Notes and history

The person's Notes and history side panel gathers the team's notes and every status change, with who made it and when.

  • Write the note and use @ to notify someone on your team by email. The email has a link that opens the person right on the notes.

  • You can delete your note within the first 5 minutes.

  • The note is tied to the person in the job, which happens with the first vote or status. Before that, the panel only shows a notice.

Approve and move in Careers

When you mark a person as Approved, you choose to:

  • move them now to the job's position in Careers;

  • move them to another position;

  • only approve and move them later, from the In process tab.

The position change is recorded in the person's history, with who moved them and when. The person's maps and skills profile are not changed.

Job status

At the top of the job, you can Pause, Reopen, Mark as filled or Close it. The status tells the team where the job stands: nothing is blocked or deleted, and the ranking, the process and the notes stay available.
