How to Import Multiple Choice Questions in Batch

Learn how to use the bulk import wizard for Multiple Choice questions directly on the platform.

Updated this week

If you need to add multiple Multiple Choice questions to your library, use the bulk import wizard directly on the platform. You can import up to 100 questions at a time from an .xlsx, .xls, or .csv file.

How to access

In the side menu, go to Library. Open (or create) a Quiz type question. Scroll to the Questions section and click the Import questions button.

Step-by-step import wizard

Step 1 — Upload file

Drag your file to the upload area or click Select file. Supported formats are .xlsx, .xls, and .csv, with a maximum of 100 questions per upload.

This screen also shows the expected fields. You can use the template file as a starting point.

Step 2 — Select header row

Indicate which row in the spreadsheet contains the headers (usually the first row). Click Next to continue.

Step 3 — Match columns

The wizard will try to automatically map your spreadsheet columns to the expected fields. Review the mappings and adjust manually when needed. Unmatched columns are marked as Ignored column.

Step 4 — Validate data

Review all rows before confirming. Rows with errors are highlighted and can be discarded individually. Use the Show only rows with errors toggle to filter issues. Click Confirm to complete the import.

After the import, the created questions are immediately available in your library.
