To get to the programming test, you have two paths:

  • By the list of public challenges that are on your dashboard;

  • By the invitation (along with other challenges to be answered) sent by the recruiter.

Remember that there will be a time limit for you to respond to the challenges. This changes the amount of available attempts.

By clicking on the start you will be directed to the home page of the test instructions

  • Time

  • Available Attempts

  • Level

  • Descriptive

When opening the run screen, it is important to pay attention to the following items:

  • In the upper left corner of the screen, you can choose the language you want to run the test in. Some tests are language-restricted, so it's critical to choose one of the languages listed.

Note: Stay tuned, because programming tests do not yet include frameworks.

In the right corner of the screen you will find the time remaining to run the test and also the "Test" button, which should be used to test your solution.

Note that at the bottom, you will have the list of tests defined, if your solution is correct they should be marked "green", if incorrect "red".

You'll have some tests available for review and the rest with a padlock, which means you can't view. This can help correct the error in your test

As long as you have time available on the counter, you can change and test again to improve your solution and serve more test cases, then just submit.

Note.: Some tests may display confirmation messages like the one below.

If your test is set to video recording, at the end of the button will display the following message: "You must record a video to finish the test", and in its side menu it will enable the recording icon.

Click on "Record video", and then the screen will open to set up your recording,

When you finish recording, just click on "Insert video", you can test the video and redo the recording if necessary. Then just finish the test.

Note.: During the video recording, the time of your test is paused, not interfering with your final time.

Check here the browsers that support recording.
