Manage Careers

Under Skills > Careers you can create and manage all careers in your workspace. Management options are available by clicking the three dots in the Actions column next to each career.

Create

Click Create career in the top right corner — or the center button if no careers have been created yet. A modal will open with the following fields:

  • Career name (required) — the name that will identify the career on the platform.

  • Workspaces (optional) — links the career to one or more workspaces in the company.

  • Owners (optional) — users responsible for managing the career.

  • Default language (required) — the primary language of the career. Set to Portuguese by default.

  • Description (optional) — explanatory text about the career, up to 255 characters.

After filling in the fields, click Save and continue. The career will be created in Draft mode and you'll be taken to the details screen, where you can configure journeys, positions, and skills.

Clone

Cloning creates a full copy of the career — including all configured journeys, positions, and skills — useful when you need to create a similar career without starting from scratch.

Click the three dots next to the desired career and select Clone. The copy will appear immediately in the list with the same name as the original. From there, you can rename it and adjust whatever is needed.

The cloned career is created in Draft mode, regardless of the original career's status.

Archive and Unarchive

Archiving deactivates the career without deleting its data — it stops appearing for workspace users but can be reactivated at any time.

To archive, click the three dots next to the career and select Archive. Confirm the action in the modal that appears. The career will be moved to the Archived tab.

To unarchive, go to the Archived tab at the top of the list, click the three dots next to the career, and select Unarchive. After confirming, it will return to the active list and be available to users again.

Remove

Removal is permanent and irreversible. When you remove a career, all associated journeys, positions, skills, and people will also be deleted. If you only want to temporarily deactivate it, it's better to use the Archive option instead.

To remove, click the three dots next to the career and select Remove. Confirm the action in the modal that appears.
