Hey, DEV! For those of you who want to contribute to the production of content for the Coodesh blog, here are some tips on how to prepare technical articles.

But first of all, access this link to inform that you want to contribute with content produced for the Coodesh community and to learn how to make this contribution.

First step

Define an interesting topic in your area. Think of something that can attract the attention of Coodesh's personas, which are DEVs who are looking for their first job or a replacement.

Second step

If you think it's necessary, search on specialized websites or on LinkedIn itself how people are treating the same subject, what approach they are taking, even to get insights on the topic.

Step Three

It's time to get your hands dirty (or on the keyboard!) and start writing. Feel free to put everything you think is pertinent. Then we review here and change some order of paragraphs if necessary. It's easy 😊

The tip is to create a line of reasoning that has an introduction, a development and a conclusion.

The introduction can introduce the topic and create reflections. Development is the "cake filling" where you will present the arguments. The conclusion is closure, with some opinion on the subject, for example.

As for the length, it is interesting that it has 500 to 1000 words, more or less. But it's not a rule, you can do it as the idea flows. Oh, and preferably, make a title.

Another detail, if you want to write in the first person (me) exposing a situation that you identify on a daily basis, it's cool too, because the article will be signed and then readers can better connect with your story, giving that humanized content.

Step four

Send a photo and a brief biography, with about four lines or so, talking about what your background is, because you believe that your area is important (for development) and something else that you find interesting to add. This "signature" of the article serves to show your authority on the subject, after all, this is cool even for ranking.

Step Five

Upload the article to the Coodesh Community form, give your ok after the final review and follow the publication to share on your networks, mentioning Coodesh 😊
