Some companies ask you to confirm your identity before you start the assessment. When that happens, a step called Identity verification shows up on the preparation screen, before the questions.
What you will need
An original photo ID (RG, CNH or passport).
A working camera on the device you will take the assessment on.
A well-lit spot.
How it works
Enter your CPF and click Start verification.
The capture opens in a window on the page itself, run by a specialist partner. You photograph your document and then your face, following the instructions on screen.
How long it takes
Most of the time the answer comes back in less than a minute, in the same window. Once your identity is confirmed, just close the window and go on to the assessment.
Sometimes the check goes to a manual review, which can take a few hours. You can close the page: when the result is ready, you get an email. If you open the same link before that, the step shows that the review is still in progress.
If the verification is not approved
You stay on this step and see this message:
Talk to the company running the assessment. Only they can release your access, and it takes them a couple of clicks.
I do not have a CPF
Tick I do not have a CPF on the step. The check runs against the CPF database, so without one there is nothing to confirm, and the assessment does not go on without the verification. Talk to the company running it to agree on how to continue.
Frequently asked questions
Does the company keep my photo?
No. The capture is handled by the specialist partner, and the company that opened the assessment receives the result of the check, not your photos.
Does the assessment clock run while I do this?
No. The timer only starts when you start the test.
I started and closed the page. What now?
Open the same invitation link. The step picks up where it left off. If the capture window has closed, you can start again.
What if the verification does not open?
If the partner is down, the step says the check could not be done and you go on to the assessment. The company's report records what happened.
