Coodesh has an accessibility menu pinned to the right edge of the screen, available on every page of the platform, including while you take an assessment. It brings together the page reading adjustments, the Libras translator and hands-free navigation with head movement.
There is nothing to set up and no permission to request: the menu is already there, and you turn each tool on and off whenever you want. If you are only after the reading adjustments, the detailed walkthrough is in How to use the accessibility menu.
Where to find the menu
The menu sits on the right edge, halfway down the screen. Each tool has its own round button, and the button shows its name when you hover over it or reach it with the keyboard.
On phones and tablets the menu opens collapsed, as a single round button with the accessibility symbol. Tap it to see the full list.
Accessibility tools
The Accessibility tools item opens the page reading panel, with three groups of options:
Content Adjustments: font size, highlighted headings and links, dyslexia font, letter spacing, line height and font weight.
Color Adjustments: dark, light and high contrast, high and low saturation, and monochrome.
Tools: reading guide, stop animations and big cursor.
Each of those is covered step by step in How to use the accessibility menu. To undo everything at once, use Reset settings at the top of the panel.
Libras
The Libras item opens VLibras, the official Brazilian government plugin. An avatar appears beside the page and translates into Brazilian Sign Language the text you select or click on.
While the translator panel is open, the accessibility menu steps aside on its own so it never covers it. If the translator fails to open, a message tells you so and you can try again: it relies on an external service.
Face navigation
The Face navigation item turns on Face Control: a cursor you move with your head, so the platform can be used hands-free.
Click the item. Your browser will ask for permission to use the camera.
Read the instructions, center your face in the camera, look at the middle of the screen and click Start. That becomes your neutral position.
Move or tilt your head to bring the cursor onto an item.
Rest on the item for a moment: dwelling on it counts as a click.
In the Face Control panel, open Settings to adjust:
Cursor Speed and Sensitivity.
Click time: short, medium or long, which sets how long you must rest on an item.
Control mode: Absolute, where moving your head positions the cursor, or Relative, where tilting your head makes the cursor glide like a joystick and centering your face stops it.

Recalibrate, to set the neutral position again, and Show face landmarks, to see the tracking on the camera preview.
To turn it off, click the same menu item. The camera is only used while Face Control is active, and the images are read inside your own browser.
Moving the menu
If the menu is covering something, you can move it along the right edge in two ways:
Drag the buttons up or down.
Click Move the menu and use the arrows that appear. Click Done when you are finished.
The menu only moves vertically, and it reopens wherever you left it.
Hiding and showing the menu
The last button in the list, Hide accessibility tools, collapses the menu into a single round button carrying the accessibility symbol. Click that button, Show accessibility tools, to bring the list back.
Hiding is not turning off: the tools stay one click away and any adjustments you already applied remain in effect.
Frequently asked questions
Is the menu available during an assessment?
Yes. It appears on every screen of the platform, assessment screens included.
Are my preferences saved?
Yes, in the browser you are using. If you switch browsers or devices, or clear your browsing data, you will need to set them again.
Is the camera on the whole time?
No. The camera only starts when you turn Face navigation on, and it never starts by itself: even with your preferences saved, you have to activate the tool on each visit.
Which languages does the menu support?
The menu follows the platform language, in Portuguese, English and Spanish. The reading adjustments panel also has a language selector of its own, with more options.
The menu animates. Can I turn that off?
If your operating system is set to reduce motion, the menu detects it and opens without animation. You can also use Stop Animations to freeze movement on the rest of the page.
